I am a current senior at MIT. I will be receiving my Bachelor of Science in Biology in a few weeks. I am currently taking a gap semester before I matriculate to medical school. I enjoy meeting new people and teaching, so I wanted to spend this time tutoring students. I have experience tutoring high school students one-on-one in chemistry and algebra 2, and I have also edited college admissions essays. I have tutored elementary and middle school students in math, reading, and writing. Additionally, I have volunteered as a summer camp teacher to students in Taiwan and Hong Kong, where I designed and taught courses in biology and genetics. I can tutor a wide variety of subjects, but I most enjoy teaching biology, math, and reading comprehension skills. I am also more than happy to edit college admissions essays and tutor in SAT/ACT, as I know how stressful these can be in securing admissions to colleges. Education is something that is really important to me and something that I believe should be taken seriously, but I also think that we should have fun while learning. In my spare time, I love to read, bike, and travel (the traveling is on pause for right now).
