As a graduate of Iona College, I received my B.A. in mathematics with a double minor in education and psychology. After undergraduate school, I completed my M.S. in Mathematics Secondary Education and a program for Educational Leadership. While working with students across all spectrums (middle school, high school and college) through the early 2000 standards, through common core and now preparing for Next Gen, I am a strong believer in the use of technology as a tool to understanding and not as a forbidden totem in learning. My true passion is helping others learn new techniques and tools. Motivated by my own calculus teacher in high school, I teach multiple methods until you understand in a way that is best for you. As a former writer for the A.C.T. I understand the thought behind questions and the "tricks of the trade". Just like a personal trainer gets you to your fitness goals, I will work to get you to your academic goals.
