I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and Languages and Literature with concentrations in International Studies and French. During my years at my university, I traveled many times outside of the country; I focused on cultural and language immersion and that is what I hope to share with my students. I am a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, so language and cultural awareness are very important to me. My approach to tutoring focuses primarily on the students' needs while also including new material to support what they already know. I am an advocate for language education, believing that language learning is necessary as the world continues to globalize. Aside from tutoring, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, playing video games and cooking for my friends and family.
