I am a junior at Towson University's Honors College majoring in Psychology and minoring in Applied Adult Disability Studies. I have been tutoring for 2 years now and counting! I tutor psychology, college application essays, reading, spelling, study skills and organization, and presentation skills. I first started tutoring in high school during my internship at our school's writing center, and I tutored papers ranging from all sorts of subjects and worked with students on all stages of the writing process. If I saw that they were struggling with a certain topic, I would make a form that they could take home and ask for a follow-up! I also tutored reading at Kumon where I worked with kids ranging from 4 to 18 years old. Independent with some guided earning is something I really prioritize in students. My goal is to help each student succeed and have them believe that they can succeed too!
