Hello, and thanks for reading my intro. Here's my educational history:
BA and BS: Clemson University
MA: Appalachian State University
Ph.D.: University of SC.
I am a nationally certified (CCC) and state-licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) with 25+ years of experience. I've worked in nearly every setting available to SLPs. I have taught speech-language pathology undergraduate and graduate students for over 17 years. I can help you prepare for the SLP Praxis exam and also perform well in your courses before you sit for the Praxis. If you're a student seeking admission to an SLP program, I can assist with developing your personal statement and can answer questions about application procedures. I can assist students of any age with reading, spelling, or grammar difficulties. As a licensed/certified science teacher (Biological Sciences), I can support students who have elementary and middle school science needs. I have taught students of all ages, from preschool through adult, including students who have changed careers and are older than me. I'm inquisitive and have embraced being a lifelong learner. In fact, I learn from my students when they ask questions that prompt me to search for comprehensive answers. I'm constantly researching and investigating, and I enjoy helping others. I aim to render only high-quality services, and I look forward to meeting you.
