I am a recent college graduate passionate about German studies and psychology. I have been learning German for 8 years (since freshman year in high school), have visited the country 3 times for exchange programs and study abroad, and received distinctions in German and psychology during my senior year of college.
I have been tutoring students since freshman year at college and am dedicated to improving your language skills based on your personal needs. I will work with you to hone your speaking and readings skills, help develop study strategies to pass tests, and connect your learning to cultural lessons based on extensive experience.
I also have extensive experience with human development and psychology based on my undergraduate coursework. I am passionate about using psychology to improve the lives of disadvantaged youths and actively apply psychological theories to my research. I will help you develop these skills for yourself to promote holistic applied learning and give context to your studies.
In addition to providing German and psychology tutoring support, I will assist students with ACT, SAT, and GRE preparation. I received high scores on these exams and I will teach studying techniques as well as test-taking strategies. Through our lessons, you will improve your scores and prepare yourself for college-level and graduate coursework.
I cannot wait to start our tutoring sessions!

I played the clarinet for 10 years until halfway through college but am still very passionate about music and instruments (I hope to learn the piano at some point). I am also very interested in hiking throughout Massachusetts, my home state, but I have never camped overnight! I used to play soccer and basketball when I was younger but was not able to engage in those activities during college, so I am hoping to join a league in my area. Finally, I am becoming very interested in learning how to cook and bake during the ongoing pandemic. Even though baking is not the best for eating healthy, I find it really relaxing and want to become more comfortable with it so I can make sweets anytime I get a craving for them!
