I will be graduating this December from the University of Houston-Downtown with my Bachelors in Computer Science and a Minor in Mathematics. Throughout my college career, I found myself helping other students understand the course material resulting in their increased comprehension of the subject matter as well as improvement in their grades.
As a mother, I am also able to help my own children understand concepts in mathematics, language arts, social studies, etc.
As each student is different, I have discovered there are many ways to approach learning and have been able to adjust my teaching style accordingly.
I am interested in tutoring in a variety of subjects, but the ones I find most gratifying are within the scope of mathematics, programming languages, and logic.
In my spare time, I enjoy crocheting, knitting, board games, and card games with my children.
