I have a BA in General Studies with an emphasis in Arts, Media, and Entertainment, from the University of Arizona. My main focus was in English courses, such as Literature. I am currently pursuing my Masters in English and obtaining my Teaching Certificate to teach High school English, at the same time. I have always wanted to teach students since I was young. My passion is in Literature and I believe that every student deserves to know how to read and write well. This means being able to analyze written works, as well as format essays. I like to be hands on and verbal when it comes to teaching and tutoring. I feel that writing requires someone who is not afraid to critique and tell you how to better your writing. I also believe that every student is different and that means adapting to their learning needs. I am a firm believer that everyone can read and write well, it just requires some passion and commitment.

Other than Literature, I also enjoy Theater and Film/Television. These are also things I am capable of analyzing and writing about. In my downtime, I love to read for fun and do occasionally play video games. Binge watching shows are my guilty pleasure, as well as movie marathons.
