I have received a Bachelor of Science from Washington College, majoring in chemistry, minoring in biology, obtaining a concentration in biophysics and biological chemistry, all while being a part of the pre-medical track. Through experiences during my time at Washington College, I gained an appreciation for education and a passion to pass along the knowledge I have gained. Being a teaching assistant for the organic chemistry lab for multiple years, I have learned to appreciate the power of education and wish to pass this along to my students. I find that in science, visual learning is a key proponent, and this is the type of learning style I bring to my lessons. Outside of academics, I was a part of many different clubs and was captain of the varsity baseball team. Along with my love for science, I have a strong love for sports, specifically baseball, exercising, cooking, and being outdoors. Currently, I am working at the University of Pennsylvania in a subsection of their veterinarian school as a research specialist and am in the medical school application process.
