I am a graduate of The University of Delaware. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a second licensure in Middle School English. During my time at the University of Delaware, I had several opportunities to tutor and teach students of varied ages. After school once a week I would read to children, and tutor them to help them with their reading skills. In my senior year, I student taught 3rd-grade students in all subjects including math, social studies, science, and reading and writing for half a year. I also student taught 6th grade ELA helping students to advance their writing as well as reading skills for half a year. While I tutored and taught a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English as well as Elementary Math. In my experience, I have had the best success in teaching students when I make it relatable, fun, and use engaging activities. I am a firm believer that everyone can learn and achieve, and I can work with students to find the best way to learn for them! In my spare time, I enjoy playing the ukulele and piano, exercising, and baking.
