I am currently a freshman at the University of California Berkeley majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. During high school, I spent three years tutoring students in mathematics in Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. While I tutor Mathematics, Standardized Test Prep, and Japanese, my favorite subject to tutor is Mathematics because I love when a topic finally "clicks" for a student, which I believe demonstrates their understanding of a specific topic. I believe that every child has the capability to perform well in all aspects of life, including studies, and I wish to help students achieve their academic goals. My tutoring style is strongly student-centered, meaning that my lessons and teaching are always catered towards the students needs. I also believe that in these one-on-one tutoring sessions, an interactive and engaging experience is best to fully promote understanding. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, running, playing tennis, and video games.
