Hello! My name is McKayla Hoffman, and I'm so excited to walk with you on your academic journey.
I graduated with a degree in Anthropology and Public Archaeology in 2014, and am currently a seminary student at Meadville Lombard Theological School. I appreciate the opportunity to work with students of all learning styles, abilities, and interests.
Particularly during these challenging times, whether we're faced with writing an essay for class or finishing an assignment that seems impossible, it can feel incredibly daunting. I hope to impart renewed confidence to students when it comes to their writing, and that it isn't a mountain to climb, but rather a series of doable steps to take that get easier with practice.
I also believe all students deserve to express their authentic voice in their assignments, and that when grammar and syntax combine with a well-developed argument, thesis, or ideas, their voices can shine--including yours!
Don't fear, you've GOT this!
