I am a Special Education Teacher with 40 years of experience in education. I graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelors of Science in Special Education(K-12) and a minor in Elementary Education. I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Supervision from Central Connecticut State University. I have taught Reading, Writing, Spelling, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies to all grades. I have taught Special Education and General Education to students with disabilities including dyslexia, autism and ADD/ADHD. I especially enjoy working with students who want to learn, but require differentiated instruction and modifications in order to access the general education curriculum!

Hiking and reading are my favorite activities! I have hiked the Appalachian Trail and climbed Mt. Washington. When I am not hiking, I love reading mystery books on my back porch with the beautiful birds and the animals in the woods.
