I am a recent graduate from Colorado School of Mines where I majored in Civil Engineering and minored in Public Affairs. I have been tutoring students since high school where I started by helping my math teacher with younger students that were struggling. I continued helping out in college and even took a class on how to teach math and science successfully that included being a student teacher in a geometry class for a semester.
I love helping students learn because I have been a student that has struggled in the past and have found tutoring extremely helpful. I know how rewarding it is to finally understand everything that is being taught and hope to help other students get there.
I tutor in math, chemistry, biology, Spanish, and am happy to tutor in most Civil Engineering classes from Steel Design to Statics. I am willing to work with a student on any subject they struggle with and will put in as much as the student needs. I am able to explain solutions to problems in many different ways so that a student is fully able to understand everything.
