I have been a teacher and tutor for over 5 years with both classroom and private tutoring experience. I have a B.A. in Peace and Justice Studies and Italian from Wellesley College, and am passionate about accessible and inclusive education. I taught Writing and Public Speaking at the WCEA program in Wellesley, MA for 2.5 years (I graduated early and unfortunately had to head back home from university), and found great joy in watching my classes of 1st, 2nd, and 5th graders flourish into confident writers with the full capability to put their thoughts and ideas into meaningful words. I also tutored children both in the U.S. and Italy in English and foreign languages--I love getting to meet and work with students of all ages from all sorts of backgrounds! I was also a Peer Editor for my high school's English Department, and thus developed significant experience in editing essays, college application writing pieces, and analytical pieces regarding American Literature. With extensive background in English/Literature, Writing, Public Speaking, Spanish, and Italian, I am excited to help students grow, gain confidence, and meet their goals in the way that best suits their learning style and needs.
