I am a graduate of The University of Alabama. I received my Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science.
Since graduation, I have worked professionally for 24 years for many IT and pharmaceuticals companies. During the evenings beginning in March 2013, I started tutoring and teaching students on mathematics subjects for the GED exam. When the 2014 GED test was implemented, the mathematics portion was 55% Algebra; however, there were many concepts leading up to that point that I had to help students learn. Those concepts were the following: converting percent to decimals to fractions, fractions, integers, ratios, proportions and data analysis.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, working outside at home, and raising out 5 year old and watching her learn and grow.
