As a junior Neuroscience and Spanish double major at Temple University, I have had an academic career that has required me to adapt to courses with varying levels of content, difficulty, and formats. The things that have kept me motivated and successful are my organization skills, an interest in the subjects that I am studying, and mentorship from my peers. It is my goal to provide similar tools to my students through personalized study plans, goal-setting, and positive reinforcement. I plan to help students succeed in whatever class they may be struggling not only by explaining material but by going further to figure out what study strategy best works for the student. My favorite subject to tutor is Spanish because to me, practicing the language and becoming familiar with grammar structures is more like an active conversation than it is studying.
Undergraduate Degree: Temple University - Bachelor of Science, Spanish
My favorite things to do involve being physically active through working out, biking or hiking. While I'm at home I enjoy reading- my favorite author is James Patterson although lately I've been reading books about psychology. I also love to travel and am planning on living in Spain next year.
