I have been an Educator for all of my adult life (more than 25 years). I enjoy helping students (of all ages) reach their full potential as learners.
I tutor/teach Writing, English, Reading comprehension, SAT Preparation, GED Preparation, vocabulary enhancement, study skills (basically, any subject except Math).
Recently, I helped a young lady who is in her last year of graduate school turn what would have been a "D" paper into an "A" paper. I also helped another friend turn an "F" paper into an "A" paper. I cannot recall a time when I have helped someone with a paper, that the student received less than an "A."
I am currently monitoring a Learning Pod of 5 elementary school and middle school learners. One of the students (14 years old) told me that she has never received an "A" in any of her classes! Well, after helping her for three weeks her grade in English is now an "A-". She sits up just a little bit taller now.
It gives me great joy to help a struggling student reach his/her goals, no matter the age. I remember being in college struggling all by myself with nobody to help me . As I looked around at everyone on the campus, coming and going, I realized that it was 'every man for himself." Everyone struggled alone.
I assure you that you are NEVER alone when you work with me. I am empathetic and passionate, and I am here to assist you all the way. So please trust me as we walk together towards your academic success.
Looking forward to serving you!
