I am a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship. I am currently pursuing a master's degree from Penn's Engineering School in Scientific Computing. I began tutoring in high school, helping younger students learn both technical subjects and the humanities. As an undergraduate, I served as orientation peer advisor to incoming freshman, helping them adjust to campus life and figure out what academics and extracurriculars they wanted to pursue while at Penn. My background as an engineering student who has written for my college's school newspaper is reflected in the fact that my favorite subjects to tutor are math and writing. I have always seen education as a way to improve oneself; I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to make this a reality for other students. In my spare time, I enjoy watching basketball, running, reading, and biking.
