I received my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University. I am an experienced international elementary educator and have lived and worked on 5 continents. I have taught students from many different backgrounds and with varied levels of English comprehension. I am passionate about learning as both an educator and a student and I work hard to help my students realize their own passions for discovering new information and learning new skills. In my experience, learning is most effective when students are given a voice. As individuals with thoughts, emotions, opinions, and interests, I believe students should be able to provide feedback on how they learn best. I also believe that when students are more reflective, they take greater ownership and pride in their education. I believe education is tantamount to success, but I also think students can enjoy the journey there.
