My business cards proclaim me to be a teacher and author, but when you get right down to it, I'm so much more: I'm a mother of two sons, a passionate advocate for personalized education and experiential learning, and an idealist. My goal is to help every person I work with to identify and develop their own unique combination of strengths, interests and personal attributes so they can reach their goals.
My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Spanish, and a graduate degree (MBA) in International Business. I have taught students ranging from high school through graduate school, and am a former adjunct faculty member at the University of Arizona where I taught courses in Business Writing and Presentations, Business Planning, Project Management, Management Consulting, and Career Development. I am also a writer, author, and public speaker, and have recently earned my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) master certification.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and am an avid hiker and kayaker. When I'm not enjoying the outdoors, it's a pretty good bet that I am probably snuggled up on the couch with my 120-pound Great Dane, Annabelle, reading a book or hanging out with my family.
