I'm currently a sophomore at Penn State University majoring in International politics. As a Paterno Fellows aspirant, I plan on double minoring in Chinese and Japanese. After graduating, my goal is to attend law school and pursue a career in criminal justice.
As a political science student, I'm very passionate about politics and I'd consider myself quite politically active. I spent my first semester of college volunteering as a social media manager for Andrew Yang's 2020 presidential campaign. My experience from that campaign taught me a great deal about political activism and helped inform my views on electoral politics.
While I tutor in a wide range of different subjects, I greatly enjoy teaching American history and helping students develop standardized testing skills. When I've tutored students preparing for the SAT, I've always found that the evidence-based reading and writing section invites the most critical thinking and discussion.
