I am a Navy and Marine Corps Veteran, a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Old Dominion University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Norfolk State University and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from South University.
I served as a Preschool, Kindergarten, First and Second Grade Teacher and School Nurse for three years. I have also taught human anatomy and physiology classes in William and Mary's Gifted Enrichment Program to elementary and middle school learners.
I am currently teaching Medical Assisting and Nursing students at Bryant and Stratton College in the classroom and in clinical settings. I believe learning should be fun and engaging. I also love to see students light up when they grasp new concepts!
