I'm a a recent graduate from Pepperdine University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry with a biochemical emphasis. I'm currently taking a gap year to gain some work experience, and I plan to attend medical school in 2021. During my time at Pepperdine, I completed a significant amount of tutoring, and I loved every minute. Whether it was done privately, through Pepperdine's chemistry department, for my position as a teaching assistant, with my peers, or through a tutoring company, I made sure that I was always helping someone learn. Because of all this experience, I've tutored practically every subject at least once, but my favorite subjects to tutor are math, chemistry, and physics. I love to teach these subjects because they help us to understand the world around us on a new level, and I always have real-life examples/connections ready to make sure that a student is never left with the questions of "when will I ever use this?" and "why do I need to know this?" On a personal level, I'm relaxed, patient, and easy to get along with, and I tutor with one goal: to create a teaching style specifically catered to each student that will help them to learn and perform to the best of their ability.
