As a tutor, I go beyond simply helping you memorize material for your exam; I will explain real-life applications of the content, which will not only help with recall but also assist you in applying that material to your real estate career. I've had the pleasure of working with students from 17 states to help them gain a deeper understanding of real estate concepts.

I passed my Ohio salesperson exam and my Ohio, Alabama and Florida broker exams on the first try using tips that great teachers shared with me through the years. I believe that even if you've struggled with your exams in the past, if you approach your study time with a fresh outlook you can tackle these tests.

I started in the field in 2003 as a real estate agent in Ohio. In 2011, I became a licensed Ohio real estate broker. I owned my own brokerage from 2011-2018 where I had the pleasure of mentoring and training multiple agents. Currently I work as an Ohio licensed associate broker at 1st Class Real Estate Precision and I'm a Broker in Florida and Alabama as well.

I received my B.A. from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) in English/Journalism in 1998. Before real estate, I had a career as a newspaper reporter.

I enjoy helping people learn about real estate because there are so many employment avenues that you can take with a real estate license. It opens doors to a variety of opportunities such as sales, property management and investing.

My tutoring style takes the form of a conversation around each concept- if we can work together to talk about the test questions and how they can apply directly to your career and everyday life, the concepts and keywords will be easier to understand and remember.

I also share my private website with study materials that worked for me in learning the material. The website has practice quizzes and flashcards that students find valuable in helping them prep for their tutoring time.
