My passion for teaching comes from my love of learning. Learning and passing on that knowledge to others is one of the greatest things someone can do. I was also inspired by teachers early in my education. I tutor students for a university in St. Louis. I have also conducted several seminars on accounting, internal controls, SEC reporting as part of my job at my former employer. I am now retired so I have lots of time. I have a master's degree in Accounting from Maryville University and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in St. Louis. My philosophy, when it comes to teaching, is to never give up on my students. Everyone has their talents and strengths. My teaching philosophy is to teach my students how to study, how to maintain focus, and how to ask the right questions. With those tools at their fingertips, they will be able to achieve so much more.
