I am currently attending the University of Florida to achieve my Bachelor in Industrial and Systems Engineering. This degree program provides diversity in subject material and covers the fundamentals of all the engineering fields. Additionally, a strength I bring to my tutoring is the flexibility of ISE in several fields. It allows me to draw connections between systems traditionally viewed as independent. Focusing on the applications of concepts and drawing connections between subjects help students achieve a better understanding, and can provide an opportunity for excitement and future possibility. Sometimes students struggle to find significance in their classwork, especially mathematics, which motivates me to focus on tutoring these subjects. With students, I would love to communicate my enthusiasm and passion for my favorite courses such as Statistics, Calculus III and Algebra. I have previously enjoyed tutoring freshmen and sophomore high school students in Algebra II and Trigonometry. In contrast, I have also tutored a middle school student on an introductory Algebra and Geometry course, expanding my tutoring style to a different age group.
I focus my teaching philosophy on empowering the student through their best method of learning and studying. Through understanding and harnessing each student's unique set of strengths and limitations, we can achieve the best experience for the student. I firmly believe every student has the ability to achieve their goals if adjusted on the best path for themselves and cannot wait to help them succeed!

I enjoy cycling, traveling, and reading. I will regularly cycle long distances and am currently working towards my first century ride. Additionally, this past semester I had an amazing opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, Spain. I got to experience some of the most beautiful places like hiking the Alps in Switzerland or staying dry from the flooding in Venice, Italy. You'll also regularly catch me with my nose in a book, the most recent being: "The Art of Possibility," by Rosamund and Benjamin Zander. I definitely recommend!
