I am a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, where I received a BFA in Music Theatre and a minor in Mathematics. While attending Wesleyan, I tutored students in both Music Theory and Mathematics, and I organized performances and caroling tours at the community Alzheimer's Special Care Center and local retirement/senior living homes. I also worked at a Performing Arts Day Camp for five summers, helping to instruct campers in voice, acting, and dance for a final production at the end of each summer. Education is important to me because it provides students with the opportunity to explore their passions and discover what it is that fulfills them. I am a firm believer in using our knowledge, talents, and abilities to help those around us and our communities. I encourage all of my students to dream big, challenge themselves, ask questions, and find creative ways to express themselves and help others.

In addition to my family and friends, music is my true love. I love to sing and act, and I especially love music theatre. Growing up I played basketball and baseball, and I played soccer for 12 years. I love movies and TV shows, and I especially love board games. I love spending time with my family and friends; I love a good adventure and I am a big dreamer!
