Hello! I am originally from East Tennessee (Go Vols!) where I did my BA at Lee University. I recently graduated with my master's from Yale and am a current PhD student at Baylor.
After undergrad, I spent two and half years as a middle and high school teacher. At Yale, I worked with the Yale Center for Faith and Culture helping to edit publications and coordinating interdisciplinary colloquiums. Nowadays, I work largely with college freshmen and sophomores at Baylor helping them prepare for tests and explaining the complexities of religion. I'll soon be seeking a university faculty post. Here's my Linkedin page if you'd like to see my background and resume: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ryantramsey/
I've been passionately studying and teaching about religion for almost a decade, and along the way, I've learned (and continue to learn) how to ask good questions, write and communicate clearly, and get accepted into top-tier programs. Whether you're a middle schooler learning how to structure a five-paragraph essay or a college senior wanting tips for getting into a top graduate program, I am confident I can partner with you to help you meet your goals. I look forward to meeting you!
