I'm a newly minted graduate of Northeastern University, having earned a Chemical Engineering degree with a minor in Mathematics. Ever since I was in high school, working at National Honors Society tutoring events, I've enjoyed helping other students. From those after school sessions in the high school library to more recent experience tutoring the children of family friends in math and music, I've had lots of experience working with students. Given my educational background, I tutor many subjects in the math and science world. Additionally, my love of music and singing has given me the tools to help aspiring musicians and vocalist learn theory and technique. I especially like to tutor high school math subjects, as this is what I have the most experience with. My favorite thing about helping students is getting to witness that moment of realization when a topic really clicks for them. My teaching philosophy and style are built around this I believe that while I could feed a student answers and possibly help them for a single assignment or test, the best way to set them up is to help them gain an ironclad understanding of a topic for themselves. Because of this I will try to gently nudge a student in the right direction to allow them to make those big discoveries for themselves. Finally, I have many interests outside of schoolwork I especially enjoy running, tennis, chess, and spending the rest of my free time playing video games.
Education & Certification
Undergraduate Degree: Northeastern University - Bachelor of Science, Chemical Engineering
I have many interests outside of academic pursuits. Athletic activities such as running, playing tennis, and swimming are some of my favorites. I love music, especially singing. The rest of my free time goes towards games. I love them all: board games, card games, video games, any game you can think of, I probably enjoy it.
