Research is what I am very passionate about. I am fortunate to be at a college that is only undergrad so I have had extensive experience. I specifically enjoy organic chemistry research so here are some of my current and past experiences: 1. Synthesis of Liquid Crystal Sensors - Fall 2018 - Present - I work on the design and synthesis of liquid crystal sensors for volatile organic compounds. 2. Computational Chemistry for Cyclopentanes - Summer 2020 - Present - I perform DFT computations on Gaussian to determine strain energy for cyclohexane conformers 3. Building a Table-Top NMR - Summer 2019 - I worked in the physics department to build a functional and affordable (under 300$) NMR. It was modeled after a paper by Carl A. Michal using arduino microcontroller 4. Determination of the Chemical Structure of Lucibufagins in the Winter Firefly - Spring 2020 - I learned and used 2D and 1D NMR to determine the help determine the complicated structure
