I am a recent graduate of the University of North Texas. I obtained a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology. I am currently pre-med, aspiring to be a dermatologist one day. During my free time now, I would love to continue tutoring students who are struggling in quarantine. I have tutoring experience in organic chemistry 1 and 2, as well as general chemistry. I led a study group for ochem where we reiterated the concepts taught in lecture, and prepared for the exams through practice problems. I had to be able to come up with problems that tested different techniques and also challenged the way my students thought about a question. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills and creativity because I had to learn how to present the information in new ways. Throughout my college career I also enjoyed helping my friends and classmates with their homework in classes such as, Algebra, Calculus, and Statistics. I believe that learning is extremely valuable in any future career path, if one has an open mind to learning. I want my students to experience the passion for learning that I have, and become confident in their abilities. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, watching netflix, spending time with family and friends, and cooking.
