Hobbies
I am interested in anything new I can learn. I consistently look at TV shows on history, science, industry, geography, anthropology, "you name it"; very simply, I am enthusiastic about learning, period. Certainly, my focus is in the areas of language, literature, and theatre, but my "interest gene network" wanders far and wide. My hobbies are reading--fiction and non-fiction (I do Kindle, library books, books from Amazon and Thrift Books). I ususally have several books going at the same time. I especially read mysteries and about Shakespeare and any and all theatre. I am devoted to mysteries on TV and on disc or streaming. My favorites are Holmes, Poirot, and any BBC mystery series. I also like doing 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles. I have traveled a lot and would have a bag packed in 30 minutes to go anywhere--looking forward to Nashville and a return to Italy. I also would go to the Rockies in a heartbeat. I also like to relax in my lounge chair.
