I am a senior college student at Trinity University, where I'll be graduating in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a minor in Spanish. In August 2020 I will start at UT Southwestern Medical School. I have been involved in tutoring since I was in high school. I've tutored all ages from elementary school through college in a wide variety of subjects including algebra, Spanish, and essay editing. Currently, I am working for Trinity University as a General Physics I and II tutor. In this job, I work under a university physics professor and hold my own office hours for physics students. My tutoring style is focused around breaking problems down into manageable steps. While doing this, I work to incorporate the philosophy that education and learning can be enjoyable and make a significant impact on a student's life. Outside of school, I spend my time playing tennis, hiking, and cooking.
