Student at University of Colorado Denver majoring in Biology with younger siblings in elementary and middle school who I've help with various math and science assignments. I've also explained/ tutored college material to fellow classmates as a way of helping memorize certain topics. Favorite topics would include science and math because I love that math is universal and I tend to do well at it ever since middle school. With science I find it to be fascinating because it's almost like magic to me the way to universe, earth, and the human body work. I have taken earth sciences, physics, and physiology courses that have shown me all of this. My teaching philosophy is that knowledge is power and if we can build a basic foundation of information and build up from there then the sky is the limit. When I learn/teach I like to start off small with basic knowledge we may already know and combine this to figure out a bigger picture. Outside of school work I love playing basketball with friends, going on walks, and staying healthy and active. I also love playing video games with my younger brother and reading with my little sister.
