I am currently a rising sophomore at Tufts University where I am studying Computer Science Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. As a high school student at Hopkins School in New Haven, CT, I tutored Math and Writing for 6th grade students (and below) as a part of the "Pathfinder New Haven" program. What I enjoy most about tutoring is figuring out how to break down complex concepts into simpler, manageable pieces that help students firmly grasp the material. In addition to obtaining a better understanding of the material through this approach, students also start to recognize patterns and connections between topics to help them going forward. I am passionate about Computer Science and want to impart a similar excitement in my students, regardless of their experience level. Outside of academics, I participate in the Tufts Robotics Team, spend lots of time working on my own programming projects, enjoy playing video games and going to the gym.
