Every moment I look back and acknowledge the people I've tutored, it brings me nothing but joy. Ever since I was first required to tutor someone on my high school soccer team, I've been eager to offer my help and knowledge to others around me. I would often tutor kids around my age in math subjects, assisting with classes that I've recently taken.
From my first tutoring opportunity in high school to tutoring college students through university organizations, majority of the students I tutored were taking classes I recently took within a three-year span. It wasn't until my junior year of college when I was working at Mathnasium that I started tutoring various math subjects at a time. Ranging from basic math in kindergarten to college level calculus classes, I've been exposed to all the subjects on numerous occasions. This has allowed me to become much more familiar with all the subjects. I have occasionally tutored kids in subjects such as physics and chemistry over the years, but not as repetitively as math subjects.
I have grown to love the topic of math; with the answers predetermined and the process usually consisting of step-by-step analysis, it has allowed me to think more rationally in my day-to-day life. I hope to pass down my knowledge and optimism to anyone who is seeking assistance. Regardless of the age, I will always be willing to help anyone who is prepared to learn.
