Hello! I am a 1st grade ESL teacher at a school in Boston. I have worked with students in grades K-4, however have experience working with students in middle school. I received my bachelors degree in Spanish and Education at The College of the Holy Cross and my master degree at Boston University in Curriculum and Teaching in English as a Second Language. I am able to tutor in a variety of subject areas. My favorite subject area to tutor in is ESL as I am able to provide different resources for students to access and grow within their language skills. I am a passionate educator that believes through teaching I have the opportunity to connect with students that have different backgrounds and experiences that can certainly be used with their learning, and through this I am also able to learn more from them! Outside of tutoring, I enjoy indoor cycling, hiking, and tasting and trying out different types of coffee around Boston! I am a driven person that is constantly wanting to grow as an individual and as an educator. I am excited to be part of Varsity Tutors and have the opportunity to work with individuals from different areas!
