I struggled as a student. In school, I dealt with ADD, and slower processing speeds. I read the same sentence 100 times, failed the math test (again), always felt stupid compared to my peers and had no motivation to study. Fortunately, I have always found value in education and decided to become the teacher I never had. Once I entered the profession, I learned how to learn, how to calm my mind and isolate the important information. And now, after 17 years of experience teaching science and a 4.0 college GPA, I can show you how too.
