Hi! I'm David, I'm a forever curious Computer Science student based in Warwick, UK!
On top of my deep and genuine passion for learning, I have over 350 hours of private tutoring experience in the last 6 months alone. I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with a very wide range of pupils of all ages and skill levels, granting me a very adaptive and flexible way of working.
My approach to teaching is simple (yet not simplistic!):
I am a believer in functional, fun and fearless teaching (and learning!) . Many pupils never succeed in certain subjects because their natural dislike towards it is just reinforced by boringly, purely theoretically and dispassionately thought lessons. This kind of poor teaching should never happen, yet unfortunately is too often a reality. Through personal experience, I have learnt the importance of making subjects engaging and intriguing and so this is at the very heart of my tutoring. A crucial part of teaching (that, as a victim of the system, school often fails at) is tailoring learning to the individual's style, experience and mentality. I aim to connect with my students, understand them and deliver captivating lessons.
Having worked as a private tutor for almost 4 years and as a volunteer tutor at Aylesford School and Sixth-Form College, I have had time to enhance my understanding of different learning styles and refine my delivery of the content I am teaching.
Excited to hear from you soon!
