Greetings. I'm here to help. I've tutored English in Italy, Austria and the United States and am a master's candidate for a degree in teaching ESL at Cambridge College.
I've also worked as an adjunct professor of writing at Marymount University and as a graduate writing instructor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
I hold degrees from prestigious schools -- Wellesley College (B.A. in psychology) and Johns Hopkins University (M.A. in strategic studies and economics). I've further completed graduate coursework in elementary literacy instruction at the George Washington University.
I love being exposed to different cultures and have lived abroad for thirteen years in eight different countries. I've studied Arabic, French, German, Greek, Italian and Spanish. I am also a creative writer represented by the agency, JET Literary Associates.
I'm friendly and fun to work with, but at the same time serious enough to make sure we meet your learning goals. I'm brand new to Varsity Tutors, which is why you don't see any client reviews from me yet... I hope you'll be my first!
