As a first generation college graduate I believe that tutoring demands more than just being able to explain concepts clearly. I hold my mentors, and any chance I have serve in the capacity of mentor, in high esteem. I have had the privilege of practicing mentorship for the past three years as a peer academic coach. While this position involved tutoring, the best part of being a coach was giving advice to future physics majors and encouraging them when they felt overwhelmed by the difficulty of the subject.

I endeavor to always explain even the most complex topics in Math and Physics at a level where it makes sense to the student.
