Salve! My name is Caroline and I am a rising graduate student in UMass Amherst's MAT in Latin and Classical Humanities Program. I received my Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Classical Studies from William & Mary, where I also completed my Bachelor's in Neuroscience and Latin. I believe strongly in the importance of both the sciences and the humanities and am passionate about teaching academics through an integrative, interdisciplinary approach. Latin, however, is my favorite subject and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be immersed in the language everyday, be it through my own studies, tutoring, teaching undergraduate classes, or in one of my "tantum Latine" book clubs, wherein Latin is used as the primary conversational language.
