Being an excellent tutor isn't about knowing everything. It's about being able to relay the information you know, to different individuals, in an understandable way. I grew up with older and younger siblings and have helped them out with school in some way. This gave me experience, dealing with different age groups. From these experiences, I learned it's not always enough to speak a lesson. Sometimes we need to find creative ways to commit information to our memories. If you are having trouble concentrating in class, perhaps you need to learn in a different way. Throughout college, I sometimes struggled to concentrate in class when listening to boring teachers. My classmates and I realized that writing, speaking, and drawing class material are ways to make learning easier and even, enjoyable. If you are like I was in college, I know I have the tools to make you understand and appreciate class material. Whatever the case may be, I am confident we can find solutions to the problems presented.
I received my Undergraduate degree in Biology, General concentration, in May of 2018 from William Paterson University. Currently, I am studying for the MCAT and plan to go to medical school. Tutoring subjects in science, math, etc., are helping me relearn and be better prepared for the challenges that face me. Essentially, we are helping each other out.
