I am a mathematician, engineer, chemist, and scientist that has been actively tutoring at the University of Utah and in Salt Lake valley area for over four years. I have taught hundreds of students, from twenty different countries, 1-on-1, in groups, and in a Drop-In setting. I have a degree in Chemistry with Emphases in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics; and have worked in both academia and industry for several years. My students have went on to succeed in their courses, graduate, and relate their coursework into their own lives and careers.

I have primarily instructed college students at the University of Utah with topics ranging across mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering, and general study techniques. However, I am comfortable tutoring any age group, from AP and ACT exams for High School students to return or nontraditional students at the University level. My primary method of instruction are to first let the student guide the lesson to what they think is most important, then be practical about we could accomplish next (is a test, quiz, or homework coming up soon?), and, if we still don't have an immediate direction to take, then I excel in constructing my own problems or finding excellent resources for us to explore. My methodology as a tutor is to treat everyone, no matter their age, country of origin, or personal characteristics, as I would like to be treated and as an equal.
