I am an economist and a prospective PhD student in Economics. I received a BS and a MSc in Economics from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) and a MA from Washington University in St Louis. I am on Varsity Tutors to help people with Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, and Italian. I have experience as a Teaching Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis. When I was in college, I was also a successful private tutor for high-school students.
I believe that a good instructor must be able to break down complex concepts into simpler ones by making concrete examples. I also believe that each student has a different learning style and the instructor has the responsibility to find the teaching method that fits the student best.
I hope that through the Varsity Tutor platform I could help many students feel empowered by reaching that "aha" moment.
