I attended Orange County School of the Arts to study music, dance, and theater in high school. I went to Washington and Lee University for undergrad and graduated with a BA in Music and English double major with a minor in Theater. With a turn of events, I went through a Post-Bacc Pre-Med program and now I am a fourth-year medical student studying for boards. While preparing for medical school and before I graduated college, I began teaching at a tutoring center to help students in English, Science, and Math. I enjoyed teaching ACT classes in English and Science during the summer, as I saw my students every day and got to know them fairly well. I also assisted some high school students with their college application essays and counseled them through the entire application process.
Although my current career is a science-centered one, I have a deep appreciation for the arts. I am passionate about helping the next generation of leaders to achieve their goals, especially getting into the college of their dreams. I will never stop learning, and I hope to instill this same love of learning and curiosity in my students.
For fun (with what little spare time I am allotted), I like to watch movies or TV shows, do something active, and spend quality time with my pup!
