My name is Timmy! I am a graduate student at UCCS with experience studying Latin American and African history. I've conducted research in archives in Ghana, England, and Brazil, and worked as an editor on our schools Undergraduate Research Journal and the on-campus graduate history journal. My teaching experience includes work as a writing fellow, a tutor and teaching assistant. I like to help people learn effective ways to communicate their ideas and to actively engage with the past by asking questions about historical concepts.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy spending time outdoors, writing stories, songs and poems, and hanging out with my cats Molly and Pedro.
