A bit about me: I graduated from the University of Cambridge, England, with a BA (Honors) in English. I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of Texas-Austin, focusing on nineteenth and early twentieth century British and American literature. I worked as a freelance writer and editor before I decided to pursue a career in academia.
I have been tutoring for over ten years. I specialize in teaching writing skills across the humanities, along with English (literature and language), history, and philosophy, and a whole variety of test-prep.
My teaching approach varies according to the needs of each individual students. I have strategies to help students with their writing and comprehension of different content areas; and I try to keep things interesting and student-led as much as possible.
Other than that, the thing to know is that I love teaching and my number one goal is always to provide the best possible support for my students.
