I received my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2013, and my Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Regis University in Denver in 2017. Between these two degrees, I have taken, tutored, and helped out friends in numerous scientific subjects, including chemistry, physics, calculus, biology, genetics, and biochemistry.
Since graduating, I have worked as a ski patroller/EMT at A Basin during the winters, and as a professional research assistant at the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus during the summer. I am currently applying to medical school, where I hope to pursue a career in emergency medicine.
As somebody who has been aided immensely through my high school/undergraduate academic journey by tutors, I understand how big of a difference a good tutor can make. One on one experience, taught in a personalized manner, can make things that seem impossible in a big classroom setting extremely doable.
Additionally, having just taken the MCAT recently, I understand the stress and time commitment involved, and have learned many tips/techniques to both ease the stresses of the test and to find the simplest, straightest route to an answer, along with a deep breadth of knowledge on test material.
Outside of school, I am a fan of skiing, surfing, hiking, volleyball, spikeball, and really any sport/activity you can do outside.
